Don't forget. Its test day so come to school refreshed and ready to knock it out of the park

This week we are starting our middle of the year diagnostic testing in reading and math.
Wondering how you can support your student's learning?
1. Speak with your student about using i-Readyto help them prepare for class work. Also explain that i-Readywill show teachers where your student is doing well and
which topics need some more review.
2. Encourage your student to take each lesson and quiz question seriously. Emphasize "thinking before clicking,” becausejust clicking through will not give teachers
an accurate report of what your student knows and is able to do.
3. Encourage your student to use the tools that will appear at the bottom of the screen in some lessons.
4. Contact your student’s teacher about how often your student should practice at home, or with any other questions about i-Ready.

We will be having a fun activity for families tomorrow 11/29 called Fizzing Fall Pumpkins at 3:15pm in Room 8. I've attached the flyers in both English and Spanish. Please share on your Class Dojo.

Just a quick reminder we will not have school the rest of the week, so that families can celebrate Thanksgiving together. Enjoy your time together and stay safe. We will see you again next Monday. Don't forget that Middle of the Year Diagnostic testing is coming up right after break. Stay Sharp :)

Just a quick reminder, we have no school from Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Enjoy your holiday break

Today we had our Coffee with the Principal this morning and the parents got to make sugar scrubs with the materials provided by Ms. Lee.
We are also organizing a PTO to start selling food to raise funds for our school. These funds would go to student and teacher celebrations. If you would like to be part of the PTO, please contact our parent educator. Have a great day.

Starting tomorrow is your chance to help those who are less fortunate. Let's see how big a donation we can have as a school.
