Dear Morris K. Udall Parents/Guardians,
The safety and well-being of our students and staff are our top priority. This letter is to inform you of an incident that occurred earlier today involving two of our students. While we deeply regret having to communicate such news, please rest assured that we take the safety and well-being of our students very seriously.
This morning, one of our students sustained a minor facial injury during an altercation with another student on their way to school. Our dedicated staff acted promptly to ensure the safety and well-being of all students involved.
In accordance with our school's protocol and commitment to transparency, we immediately contacted the Phoenix Police Department and they are actively involved in the investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident. We are fully cooperating with law enforcement to ensure a thorough and fair investigation is made.
Please know that we are committed to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for all students at Morris K. Udall. We take any incident of this nature seriously and will take appropriate action to address the situation once the investigation is complete.

Esta mañana, uno de nuestros estudiantes sufrió una lesión facial menor durante un altercado con otro estudiante camino a la escuela. Nuestro personal dedicado actuó con prontitud para garantizar la seguridad y el bienestar de todos los estudiantes involucrados.
