Dear Mitchell Families,
As always, the safety of your children is our first priority, we believe it is very important to keep our community informed of current events on our campus and would like to make you aware of a situation that took place earlier today.
Today, we received a report that an airsoft gun (also known as a BB gun) was brought to our school campus. The school administration moved quickly to secure the safety of all students while they worked to establish the validity of the report. We take all safety issues seriously and take appropriate disciplinary actions. Our goal is to ensure you receive accurate information and dispel any rumors you may have heard about the incident.
We ask for your help in addressing the important issue of student safety. Please take a moment to review our school safety policies in the Isaac School District Parent/Student Handbook with your child.
