Maria has been a community member in the Isaac District for 15 years. She has four grown adult children and 8 grandchildren that attend the Isaac District, one great-grandchild. For 23 years, she worked as a Parent Educator in the Isaac District working with the community. Maria’s greatest interest is to continue working with the community. She wants to be a voice for the best high-quality education our Isaac students can receive. As a retired Isaac employee, Maria understands the serious inequalities in the education system. She also understands how to work with the Isaac administration, District Education Association, and Classified Staff
