Here at Isaac we honor Juneteenth commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. The district office and school sites will be closed in observance of Juneteenth on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 and will reopen on Thursday, June 20, 2024.

Friendly reminder to ISD families, The last day of school is a half day on Friday, May 24th. We wish our students a great last few days of school filled with celebrations, fun, and memories with their classmates that will last a lifetime.

The National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) has designated the second Friday in May as School Communicators Day. Each of our schools have a dedicated communication ambassador who manages social media, newsletters, and websites. We are grateful for our devoted communication ambassadors as they play a vital role in showcasing student achievements, celebrations, and keeping our families informed.

Today is National School Communicator's day! Here at the Isaac Preschool we have a Communications Ambassador who is in charge of keeping our school website up to date, posting on social media to make sure all parents are aware of school happenings, and creating the school newsletter every month. This week is teacher appreciation week!!! We have so many phenomenal teachers here at the Isaac Preschool who work so hard each and every day to keep a smile on each student's face. Make sure you thank your teacher this week when you see them!! Have your student make them a card, pick a flower from your yard, or just give their teacher a big hug!! We love our teachers!!! ¡¡¡Esta semana es la semana de agradecimiento a los maestros!!! and then....the best part! The butterfly release!! Letting our little flying friends free, wishing them good luck on their journey and saying "bye bye butterfly!!". Some even stuck around to hang out with us after being free from their nets. y luego....la mejor parte! ¡¡La liberación de mariposas!! Many of the classrooms here at the Isaac Preschool received caterpillars a couple weeks ago. You've probably heard all about it from your student. They were telling the truth!! We all had so much fun watching them eat and grow. We watched them create their cocoons, and then patiently waited for them to emerge as butterflies. Believe it or not, this is the last month of the school and the last Isaac Preschool Newsletter for the 2023-2024 school year. We are so sad to see some of our students leave to go to Kindergarten, but we are so overjoyed at all of the progress that has been made this year.
