As always, our goal is to keep open lines of communication with updates. We are writing with some exciting news and important updates regarding our community's educational facilities and programs.
Renaming of the Building:
We are thrilled to announce that, following a recommendation from our Superintendent Student Advisory Council, the Governing Board has approved the renaming of the former Lela Alston Building. The new name for this cherished facility will be the Estrellas Brillantes Center for Learning. This change reflects our community's evolving identity and aspirations, embodying a spirit of brightness and promise in our educational journey.
The Estrellas Brillantes Center for Learning will continue to house the beloved Isaac Preschool Program, a cornerstone of early childhood education in our community. This renaming marks a new chapter in our history, one we are eager to write with all of you.
Update to the Isaac Preschool Program:
Due to the change in location this year for the preschool program and as stated in our previous communication, we had been pursuing licensing certification. We are excited to share the Isaac Preschool if fully licensed. With this certification and starting with the 2024-2025 school year, our Shining Stars Preschool Program will re-install tuition fees for non-isaac school district employees. We understand that fee structure changes can significantly impact our families. Therefore, we are committed to maintaining transparency and providing support throughout this transition. For the remainder of the school year, there will be no tuition fee for our Shining Stars Program. You may request information about tuition fees from our front office staff.
We thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm as we embrace these new developments. Your involvement and feedback are invaluable to us, and we look forward to growing together as a community.

Cambio de nombre del edificio:
Estamos encantados de anunciar que, a raíz de una recomendación de nuestro Consejo Asesor de Estudiantes del Superintendente, la Mesa Directiva de Padres ha aprobado el cambio de nombre del antiguo Edificio Lela Alston. El nuevo nombre de esta apreciada instalación será Centro de Aprendizaje Estrellas Brillantes. Este cambio refleja las aspiraciones y la identidad cambiante de nuestra comunidad, envolviendo un espíritu de brillo y promesa en nuestro viaje educativo.
El Centro de Aprendizaje Estrellas Brillantes seguirá albergando el querido Programa Preescolar Isaac, piedra angular de la educación infantil en nuestra comunidad. Este cambio de nombre, marca un nuevo capítulo en nuestra historia, uno que estamos ansiosos por escribir junto con ustedes.
Actualización del Programa Preescolar Isaac:
Debido al cambio de reubicación este año para el programa preescolar y según lo hemos señalado con anterioridad, habíamos estado buscando la licencia de certificación. Estamos muy contentos de compartir que Preescolar Isaac ya tiene licencia completa. Con esta certificación y comenzando el año escolar 2024-2025, nuestro Programa Preescolar Shining Stars instalará de nuevo las cuotas de matrícula para los que no son empleados del Distrito Escolar Isaac. Entendemos que los cambios en la estructura de cuotas pueden tener un impacto significativo en nuestras familias. Sin embargo, estamos comprometidos en mantener la transparencia y proporcionar apoyo a lo largo de esta transición.
