Thank you Esperanza Families for helping us keep our students safe and cooperating with our Drop-off/Pick-up protocols.

DROP-OFF/PICK-UP AREAS AT ESPERANZA ELEMENTARY

Starting Monday, March 14th, 2022 we are asking that you do not park and get out of your vehicle along 31st street on either side of the street. Cones will be placed on the street marking the areas of no stopping. Do not block the bus entrance and exit as you wait to drop off/pick up your child. Please use Esperanza Elementary south parking lot if you need to exit the vehicle.

Drop off times for Esperanza Elementary are as follows: 7:15 am to 7:40 am (gates will be closed at 7:40 am).

PLEASE NOTE: Bret Tarver parking lot is only for the staff and visitors of Bret Tarver preschool and IOPA. No parking allowed for Esperanza Elementary school families. It is a safety concern for the children being dropped off. We are also enforcing the traffic laws and signage around the school campuses. Please support and help us make it a safe area for our students and families.

There will be some additions/changes to our parking lot procedures, therefore a map of the drop-off/pick-up area is on the back of this letter and can be used to visualize the procedures. We are asking for your patience and cooperation as it will be critical to the success of what we are trying to accomplish.

The CAR drop-off/pick-up area is located in the south parking lot off of 31st Ave and Culver. Please drive to Culver street and go east to the parking lot entrance. New signage will be posted.

We ask that students only exit the vehicle in the drop-off/pick-up area in the south parking lot from the passenger side of the vehicle along the curb. Please support our staff and community members by continually moving forward to accommodate more vehicles. Make sure to stay in the right lane of the drop-off/pick-up area until the students have safely made it onto the sidewalk with the vehicle doors closed. Once students have safely cleared the vehicle, it is then appropriate to signal and merge into the left lane to slowly and safely move to exit the school parking lot. Make sure to allow other vehicles requesting to merge into the left lane the opportunity as well to safely exit the school parking lot.

We appreciate your help and know that we all want to maintain a safe environment for everyone. I understand all of this information is difficult to visualize, a review of the map should help. As long as we are attentive, patient, and considerate, everything will work well. Thank you in advance for your help.

BUSSERs and WALKERS Drop Off Areas extend along the curb starting near the front office to the north gate. Families that walk to school will enter through the gate next to the main office. Please use Esperanza Elementary south parking lots if you need to exit the vehicle.

Gracias a las familias de Esperanza por ayudarnos a mantener seguros a nuestros estudiantes y cooperar con nuestros protocolos de dejar/recoger.

ÁREAS PARA DEJAR Y RECOGER EN LA ESCUELA PRIMARIA ESPERANZA

A partir del lunes 14 de marzo de 2022, le pedimos que no se estacione ni se baje de su vehículo a lo largo de la avenida 31 a ambos lados de la calle. Se colocarán conos en la calle marcando las zonas de no parar. No bloquee la entrada y salida del autobús mientras espera para dejar/recoger a su hijo. Utilice el estacionamiento sur de Esperanza Elementary si necesita salir del vehículo.

Los horarios de entrega para la Primaria Esperanza son los siguientes: 7:15 am a 7:40 am (las puertas se cerrarán a las 7:40 am).

TENGA EN CUENTA: El estacionamiento de Bret Tarver es solo para el personal y los visitantes del preescolar Bret Tarver e IOPA. No se permite el estacionamiento para las familias de la escuela primaria Esperanza. Es una preocupación de seguridad para los niños que se dejan. También estamos haciendo cumplir las leyes de tránsito y la señalización alrededor de los planteles escolares. Apóyenos y ayúdenos a convertirlo en un área segura para nuestros estudiantes y familias.

Habrá algunas adiciones/cambios a nuestros procedimientos de estacionamiento, por lo tanto, un mapa del área de dejar/recoger está en el reverso de esta carta y se puede usar para visualizar los procedimientos. Le pedimos su paciencia y cooperación, ya que será fundamental para el éxito de lo que estamos tratando de lograr.

El área para dejar/recoger a los autos está ubicada en el estacionamiento sur de 31st Ave y Culver. Conduzca hasta la calle Culver y diríjase hacia el este hasta la entrada del estacionamiento. Se colocará nueva señalización.

Pedimos que los estudiantes solo salgan del vehículo en el área para dejar/recoger en el estacionamiento sur desde el lado del pasajero del vehículo a lo largo de la acera. Apoye a nuestro personal y miembros de la comunidad avanzando continuamente para acomodar más vehículos. Asegúrese de permanecer en el carril derecho del área para dejar/recoger a los estudiantes hasta que hayan llegado a la acera de manera segura con las puertas del vehículo cerradas. Una vez que los estudiantes hayan despejado el vehículo de manera segura, entonces es apropiado señalar e incorporarse al carril izquierdo para moverse lentamente y con seguridad para salir del estacionamiento de la escuela. Asegúrese de permitir que otros vehículos que soliciten incorporarse al carril izquierdo también tengan la oportunidad de salir de manera segura del estacionamiento de la escuela.

Agradecemos su ayuda y sabemos que todos queremos mantener un ambiente seguro para todos. Entiendo que toda esta información es difícil de visualizar, una revisión del mapa debería ayudar.

Las áreas para dejar a los BUSSER y WALKERS se extienden a lo largo de la reja desde la oficina principal hasta el estacionamiento del norte. Las familias que caminan a la escuela entrarán por la puerta al lado de la oficina principal. Utilice el estacionamiento del sur de Esperanza Elementary si necesita salir del vehículo.
