
At Isaac, we are grateful for our dedicated staff who are committed daily in supporting our students and Isaac Community. At our last Governing Board Meeting (4/27/2023), our Isaac School District Governing Board approved a 3% pay increase for all Isaac Staff returning for the 2023-2024 school year along with a $1000 contract signing/return to work stipend. An additional $1000 increase to the Classroom Site Fund amount will be added to Certified Teachers and Certified Support Staff. All eligible employees will receive a $4000 retention stipend and adjusted amount for non-full-time positions.

Congratulations to Joseph Zito Elementary and Morris K. Udall Middle School for their accomplishments in the iReady Program. Elementary students and staff celebrated with a parade and visit from Plory while middle school students enjoyed snacks and games in the “Hive”. Tonight’s Governing Board Meeting was filled with updates, celebrations, gratitude and appreciation. The Business Services Department was awarded for excellence in financial reporting. Faculty Chair for GCU’s College of Education, Alicia Kozimor, and Professor Claudia Coleman, spoke about their appreciation of the partnership between GCU and ISD. With this community partnership, Isaac continues to support pre-service teachers in their educational career paths as substitutes and future teachers. Thank you Isaac Community for joining us this evening.



Our Isaac Promotores in collaboration with Isaac Staff sponsored this event to celebrate Dia del Niño. Isaac Families participated as they received free toys, food, snacks, and entertainment for the whole family. Community partners were also present to provide resources and information for families. Thank you to all who joined us.

As our Isaac Staff engaged in the Isaac Staff Health Fair earlier this month, the school with the highest attendance received a visit from NURISH fresh eats Food Truck. Staff at Mitchell Elementary School was provided a fresh and healthy lunch today. Thank you to our Isaac Staff for their commitment to their healthy and wellness journeys.

Saturday, April 22nd the 2nd Annual ISD Solo Festival took place. Over 250 band students from across our three middle schools performed a solo for Phoenix-area music teachers. Students received immediate feedback on their performance and will use this information to further advance their band skills. We are proud of our Isaac Scholars!

Thank you to our Transportation Department for all the support they provide to all of our schools, students and families. Today we celebrated them with a delicious brunch as a small token of our appreciation. Thank you to all of our bus drivers, bus assistants, fleet advisors, and transportation office staff for their hard work and dedication.




Today is National School Bus Driver Appreciation Day. We are grateful for our school bus drivers and transportation department for playing an important role in daily school operations. Thank you to them for their support and dedication in ensuring our students get to and from school safely. Join us in celebrating our appreciation to them.


Here at Isaac, we celebrate the beautiful planet we live on. Take this day to celebrate Earth Day by using a refillable water bottle, switching to reusable bags, riding your bike or spending some time outdoors. Pictured are some students from Morris K. Congratulations to Isaac Middle School as they have been honored with the SupportMusic Merit Award for the second year in a row. Isaac Middle School is one of 78 schools across the nation to receive the SupportMusic Merit Award from the NAMM Foundation for demonstrating outstanding achievement in efforts to provide music access and education to all students.
