We were excited to see over 192 families come out and participate in the Isaac School District's High School Fair. This event is held annually to support our students and families with connecting with various high schools in preparation for their future. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the 42 high schools and organizations that played a pivotal role in making this event a success!

Happy National STEAM Day! STEAM Education is a learning approach that uses science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics to allow students to use their critical thinking skills. Our Isaac Scholars use STEAM in their daily learning as well as before and after school in the Isaac Learning Club.

We had an incredible event featuring a groundbreaking partnership with spokespeople, Ben Smith from Gnosis IQ, Jeff Meshey from Desert Financial Credit Union, and Dr. Mario Ventura, Superintendent of Isaac School District.
The event unfolded with Ben Smith's welcoming introduction, unveiling the new partnership and its details, followed by a program demonstration. Jeff Meshey shared insights on Desert Financial Credit Union's excitement and the importance of financial education.
Dr. Mario Ventura elaborated on Isaac School District's enthusiasm for the program. Notably, students received Galaxy tablets. It was an educational and impactful event!

Congratulations to J.B. We are thankful to our ISD Board & Dr. Ventura for their leadership.

Five of our Isaac Scholars attended the first City of Phoenix Sustainability Officer Orientation. The purpose of a Sustainability Officer is to enhance their campus through promoting practices that reduce environmental impacts while educating their fellow classmates on these initiatives. Students met and collaborated with Mayor Kate Gallego, Chief, and Student Engagement Coordinators for the State of Arizona. These students will be leading Career and Technical Education (CTE) Sustainability Projects at our school sites.

Students across Isaac were delighted to see their teachers and school staff with festive spirit. Students participated in trunk-or-treating, academic and enriching games, dancing, and student performances. Thank you to all ISD families who supported their schools and joined in on the fun.

This fall season has been filled with great sportsmanship, competitive spirit, and talented student athletes. Here at Isaac, our athletic programs not only provide students with teamwork skills, but also promote responsibility, commitment, and student wellness.

The Isaac District Education Association (IDEA) and the Heart of Isaac Community Center (HOI) hosted their 5th Annual Costume Drive. This annual event with their collaborative efforts, allowed for donations and costumes for children of all ages. Isaac Staff volunteered their time and contributed to this successful event.

Our SSAC (Superintendent Student Advisory Council) engaged in thoughtful conversations and reflections to deepen their understanding of the valuable assets within their schools. We emphasized the importance of asset-based thinking in shaping their perspectives and contributing to the overall growth of our educational community.

Our Community Tree Planting initiative continues as 33 trees were planted at J B Sutton Elementary School today. Thank you to our community partnerships, APS and Arizona Sustainability Alliance, which have supported this initiative of environmental sustainability across Isaac. Students, families, staff, and volunteers have contributed their time and efforts into planting donated trees and we cannot wait to see how they grow over the years.
