Dear Isaac Community,

We want to address an important issue affecting schools nationwide, including our own. Recently, we have seen a troubling rise in threats circulating on social media. We recognize the fear and disruption they can cause within our school community.

Please be assured that the safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority. Our Safety & Emergency Preparedness Specialist is actively working with local law enforcement, including the Phoenix Police Department, as well as federal agencies such as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, to thoroughly investigate and respond to these threats. Our district remains fully dedicated to maintaining a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment.

We encourage you to speak with your children about the seriousness of digital citizenship, the responsible use of technology on devices when engaging with society, and the consequences of sharing or reposting threatening messages online. Reposting such messages can lead to significant legal consequences and disrupt school operations even if your student is not the original sender. It is essential for our students to understand that their actions online can have lasting impacts, and we all play a role in ensuring a safe school community.

Additionally, we ask that you remind your children to report any suspicious activity or threats to their teachers, school administrators, or local authorities. The "See Something, Say Something" approach is vital to keeping our schools safe.

We understand that these situations may affect students differently and school counselors are available to support any student who may need assistance. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s school front office.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and support as we work together to maintain a safe, secure, and positive learning environment for all.
