The Sky Harbor Airport makes weekend getaways readily available to beach cities in Mexico and popular California cities, such as San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Frequent trips are also available to Las Vegas, Nevada and Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Phoenix is known as the Valley of the Sun and offers you one of the most desirable climates with mild winters and a dry climate year-round. The sunny weather in Arizona allows you to explore the unusual beauty of the state all year.

Summer time activities include water skiing and swimming in the many lakes, and hiking and camping in such wondrous areas as the Grand Canyon, Oak Creek Canyon and the Arizona Sonoran Desert. In the winter, snow skiing is available to you within a few hours to such areas as Snowbowl in Flagstaff, and Sunrise Ski Resort in the White Mountains. Easy airline connections are also available to ski resorts in Colorado, Utah, Nevada and New Mexico.
